 My team has said this more than once to me.

"I want to become a founder and enjoy being my own boss."

Being a founder looks amazing from the outside.

You’re your own boss, have your own working hours, and make the big decisions.

One word that everyone associates with the founder is “FREEDOM”.

But in reality, it’s the complete opposite. (telling this from personal experience)

The moment I step into the office, I’m always thinking about-

- The deliverables to approve before sending to the clients.
- Taking up the calls with prospects.
- Checking the mail.

A founder’s day does not have a fixed shift. In fact, every day it's 12-14 hours of work.

Whether you’re on a vacation, in between a flight, or on a dinner with family, you have to be available.

Because when you’re a founder, the business doesn’t switch off.
You carry it with you everywhere.

This is not a complaint, as I chose this myself.
But to let you know the weight a founder carries throughout.

You don’t fully understand it unless you step into the shoes of a founder.

Maybe my team still wants to be founder someday, but at least now, they know what they’re signing up for.
